My journey to this point has been shaped by a lifelong passion for problem-solving and a deep-rooted connection to the hospitality industry. Growing up on Stradbroke Island, my parents owned a local café called The Coffee Pot, which instilled in me a love for cooking and a unique perspective on the challenges faced by businesses in the hospitality sector.

After completing my electrical apprenticeship, I gained invaluable experience working on a diverse range of projects — from local industry services to high-end commercial kitchen equipment. My career has taken me from the bustling kitchens of Melbourne's finest dining establishments, like Vue de monde, to the rigorous demands of equipment maintenance in sectors such as food service chains, factories, prisons and resorts.

In 2013, I joined Moffat, Australia's leading equipment supplier, where I was fortunate to receive extensive manufacturing training on their product line. From there, I moved back to Brisbane and secured a role with Comcater, Australia's second leading equipment supplier, receiving manufacturing training on all their products too. This experience, combined with my gas and electrical qualifications, has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of commercial kitchen equipment and the critical importance of compliance and reliability.
